NEW Design! NEW Site!

Hello World….

At long last my portfolio website has been completed, and what a learning curve it has been. In the process of creating the site I have had to tear myself away from the old habits of relying on tables to structure my web pages and in short learn from scratch the basics of CSS.

You may now be wondering why I hadn’t converted sooner and I am starting to wonder that myself!? Every good designer knows that you should embrace new ways of achieving things, unfortunately I happen to be stubborn so any realistic reason for learning CSS took a back seat to me sticking with the safe option of what I knew; unfortunately that “safe” option was using tables to position content and therefore restricting myself to long coding and even long changes in the long run, but as is said:

“From Small Acorns, Big Oaks Grow”

What I did have on my side when designing this website of mine was knowledge of PHP which has allowed me to update the websites content just as easily as the CSS allows for the cosmetic changes…which all seems rather fitting. I will leave you to enjoy the rest of the website, if you haven’t already done so that is.
